We still have work to do

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

Simply put, black women as a voting bloc, are posed and stepping into leadership roles, at every level of public service, and we are an expansion of the support available to black women candidates, by black women in electoral politics. Period.

We must fundraise and create learning opportunities, year round, and not just during a presidential election year. We must expand our imagination to include visual of black women in public office and invest in long shot candidates, candidates in red districts, school board candidates, general clerk races, and all the small elections that often are not on anyone’s radar, but directly impact hard working people.

We will no longer wait for someone to save black women. We are about doing the good work and parity - Until there is equal representation at every level of government, we will always work to Elect Black Women.
